I can run Dartium from the command line, not include this flag, and the message still appears. If this is indeed "AsDesigned", it is rather annoying. Is there a setting that will turn this message off?

No there is no option to turn this message off, this version is meant purely for development/debugging of Dart programs and we do not want people using it for anything else, hence the explicit message.

If you have seen the message appx 2000 times it doesn't fulfill any purpose except annoy a lot. There should be a way to get rid of it even when it's on by default.
